Lara Voce at The House

Lara Voce & Clare Walters

MARCH 2026

We are proud to be welcoming Lara Voce to Parc Lettis. She'll be showing a small selection of work alongside ceramics by Clare Walters. Both of whom have shown with us before to great success.

Lara Voce creates still life paintings with an abstract sensibility. She reduces everyday objects to their simplest forms, exploring texture by building up layers of paint. Her works are marked by an uncommon luminosity, achieved through a meticulous process of painting, layering, sanding, and repainting.

Often, the final surface retains traces of earlier compositions, creating a sense of memory and history within the work. Although rooted in still life, her paintings are also representative of landscapes and people, allowing familiar objects to become stand-ins for places, figures, and emotional states.

Lara works intuitively, allowing compositions to emerge through the process itself. Through repeated layering, sanding, and careful observation, each painting gradually comes to life.

Opening 28th January, the show will run for two weeks, closing at the end of day on the 13th March.

The gallery will open on the following days, and all other days by appointment:

Wednesday 4th March  11-4pm

Wednesday 11th March  11-4pm

Please call 07725830195 or email hello@galleryathome.co.uk to make an appointment.

We very much hope you will join us to view and enjoy this celebration of domesticity in paintings of vessels and ceramics.
